The DEWAR was a special order "top
of the line" product, originally developed
for ATC Hale of Parker-Hale. It cost 17
guineas when a standard 12/15 was 5 !
This particular rifle is (as far as
I can research it) a Prototype --- the "Production
models" were based on the Model 15,
with the rearsight dovetailed onto a square-backed
receiver.
