£2500
ANT-9-074 "TRANTER: 5th Model (Treble Action)percussion revolver; 80bore, #21080T
This is the RAREST pattern Tranter revolver -- just over 30 known: it can be fired 3 ways -- -
(1) cocked with the external trigger and fired with the "top" one; (2) pulled through with BOTH triggers -- "double action" --- i.e., like a "normal" Tranter Double-Trigger AND (3) cocked with the thumb and fired "normally". VERY UNUSUAL.
It took me 30+ years to get one, but I am moving this from my personal collection as I have now got FOUR of them, 3 cased and this uncased duplicate. THIS one is in excellent condition except for faded blue.
£5000 or a swap for something for my collection!

MUZZLE-LOADING then BREECHLOADING cartridge -- s.58(2) chambering

ANT-9-112

COLT M1856 REVOLVING RIFLE: .56", #4371: this is the RAREST variation of the M1856 -- -(a) a MILITARY rifle rather than a SPORTING rifle or shorgun; (b) the one for the SWORD bayonet, rather than the common socket type -- -i.e., a bayonet bar on the front band. EXCELLENT BORE and fine condition overall except that someone has removed many of the markings (they forgot the one on the butt-plate!).

I WOULD PREFER TO SWAP THIS FOR SOMETHING "INTERESTING" FOR MY OWN COLLECTION.

£8000
ANT-9-085 SAVAGE: M1899 lever-action repeating rifle; .32-40, #66264 [PHOTO]
Excellent condition with excellent bore.
A very unusual chambering for this rifle -- probably well under 50 examples made (according to Paul Edwards, who ought to know!)
£2250
ANT-9-016 MARLIN: M1893 lever-action repeating rifle; .32-40, #313984
Good condition with a very good bore: this early lever-action is hard to find in a s.58(2) chambering. In my opinion Marlins run RINGS round Winchesters!

£1550
ANT-9-090 WINCHESTER: M1894 lever-action repeating Saddle Ring Carbine; .32-40, #627264 (1912)
£2250
ANT-B3-105
D.W.M.: Turkish contract Mauser carbine, 9.5mm, # 112341: somewhat of a rarity, only 5000 of these tubular-magazine carbinee were ordered, compared with 50,000 of the rifles. They all had a very hard life in the Balkans area. This rifle has no bore (rusted out) but is a restoration by a Museum conservator.

£395
