A NUMBER OF INTERESTING COLT REVOLVERS --- ML & CONVERSIONS |
|
| |
A 24BORE (.577) ADAMS M1851 REVOLVING RIFLE -- now a duplicate
from my collection as I have bought one in near-new condition.
THIS one was obviously part of a neglected armoury (?possibly
from India?) as (a) it really needs striking up and refinishing,
when it would look impressive; (b) the mahogany case was "repaired"
by a previous owner --- I would venture to suggest that it had
been got at by termites. |

SPENCER rifle (NOT the more commonly-seen CARBINE), excellent
condition with a very good bore. |

| |
COLT .56cal Revolving rifle --- the rare MILITARY MODEL (not
the shotgun or the sporting carbine) --- excellent condition
with a near-mint bore and the original mould: at some time past
almost all of the numbers / markings were removed from the rifle
(they forgot the one on the butt-plate!), other than that it
is very fine. |
